   Yes I have seen really bad effects of what MMOs do to people. People who can’t keep their RL in balance while playing, really should not play at all.

   It’s quite sad to see someone get lost to that. But there is an easy fix to it. SMASH THE CD!!!!! Thats what we did for Ryan. He has a real life now and he doesn’t breakdown anymore

   All games, and especially MMORPGs carry with them a risk of addiction. This is caused by the love of being someone else, someone who, in real life, we could not be, for whatever reason.

   It IS possible to lose many hours and even days in these games, and it may strain your friendships or relationships with your family, but if you are careful, and play in moderation, this is not a problem.

   MODERATION is the key. Try playing for only so long per day, say an hour. At the end of that time, turn off your computer/video gaming console, and go enjoy real life.

   These games cannot cause mental breakdowns or problems, but they can accent or bring out something that was already there.

   Remember…MODERATION!!!

   PS - there do not seem to be any medical problems caused by World of Warcraft or other games unless it was pre-existing.

   well that is true just depends you should lower playing time and go outside or relax i have also heard these stories too and well its very true i dont the name but should ask a doctor or your parents if you want more info
