Don’t Want A Free iPhone 3G? O2 Release iPhone 3G 11th July (TODAY!)
Friday, July 11th, 2008Todays the day that all o2 shops have opened their arms wide open to the public to allow you to purchase or upgade to the new iPhone 3G!
Though, is it worth the iPhone 3G wait?
Many seem to think so, as on Monday the 7th of July O2 allowed all it’s iPhone customers who are on contract to upgade to the new iPhone 3G for free on selected contracts. This did mean you had to start a new 18 month contract but there was no charge from leaving your old one.
Though as 8am struck and o2 sent out there automated alert to over 200 thousand people wanting to be notified about their free upgrade it suddenly went all dark over the o2 web site…
Within this text message from o2 was a special link, this link took you to the o2 iphone 3G site which had an extra button… This button was an “Upgrade here” link which too you to another site, which we was told was where we fill in the upgrade forms.
Though, sadly for us there was roughly around 13,000 people wanting to purchase the iPhone 3G every SECOND! Which put a heavy, heavy load on the o2 web server.
Within hours of being up the site soon run out of stock and left many disapointed people…
Though o2 have officialy launched their iPhone 3G in all local UK stores!
Stores open around 8am in the morning (Depending on your store near you) and will have a very limted stock of the iPhone 3G. Some say they are allowing your to reserve an iPhone 3G if you lay a deposit down but some say some shops are not allowing this and it’s going to be a first come first serve bases.
If you get to your local stores fast enough today you may be in luck and grab your self an upgrade, yes thats correct! You can upgrade in stores, you don’t have to purchase the phone you can upgrade your contract and get an iPhone 3G in any o2/Carphone Warehouse near you.
The rush is on, if you manage to get an iPhone 3G then you one of few in the country as it seems that the iPhone 3G has become the latest gold mine rush!

That’s correct people, I’m gonna give you the high and lows on the latest mobile from Apple, the Apple Mobile Phone is upon us and we are about to have the best gadget in the palm of our hands since the mobiles first ever went public!
But let’s first ask our selfs this, what do we want from a mobile phone?
I have talked to many people about the iPhone, and its shocking that many feel the iPhone has too many little gadgets and not enough “Phone” features. I mean do we really need a device which can login to the Internet for you to do your christmas shopping while on the move?
It seems their is a mixed bunch between us all, it’s true that the Apple iPhone is different in many ways but has it gone too far be different?
I’m a person who loves gadgets no matter how big and small they are, long as they do things that I find useful then I am a happy bunny, but for some having a touch screen with voice activation phone calling can be a waste of their time. I can understand this since at first glance a nice shiney screen is great but the novalty will soon wear off and you will soon get annoyed at having to clean your screen 100 times a day.
Warning, if you hate finger prints on your screen then stay away from the Apple iPhone!
There I have said it, first bad point about the Apple iPhone hehe, though its got its good points, its quick, it plays music and high def movies. Though at a small 8gb you wont fit too much data on to the iPhone, you are best on waiting for Apple to release a bigger size iPhone if size matters to you.
I’d give the iPhone a 8 out 10 rating, if your not into gadgets and don’t care for future technology then this phone is not for you, but if you want the next best thing then get the iPhone ASAP!

Progress updates, how my free iphone project is going!

Few days since I updated but I wanted to give it a few days till I reported back on anything new. So far the traffic to my site is getting bigger, I get roughly around 50 or so visitors a day.
So far on the freebiejeebies network I have managed to get some good results, check below to see…

It’s not great but its a start, I still have a lot more to do and the traffic so far is not from the search engines, its also not very targeted traffic so once I get that sorted I should be on a winner.
The rest of the networks I have been using are still doing ok, got 2 referrals on each network roughly but my main focus is on the free iphone gift from freebiejeebies network.
I can’t wait to get this bad boy (Free iPhone) soon as I get it I will take a nice photo of it from all different angles and you will see my free iphone for you to droll over lol. I will soon be uploading some video clips of others who have managed to get free iphones from the Internet using these free gift networks.
