My computer keeps restarting over a select few videogames!

Okay, So when I try and run Lotr Battle for middle earth 2, Requiem, Or a few other games, My computer will restart, either after its done loading the game and its about to begin, or when I try and make a character or something. I can get in the games, I just can’t run them. I can play other games fine though, Like CoH, F.E.A.R, Resident Evil 4. Here are my specs
2.08 GHz
2.5 GB Ram
ATI Radeon X1050 256Mb Videocard
180 GB Hardrive
Motherboard soundcard
Any help would be awesome, thanks

p.s. i heard silent hill 5 is coming to the 360….any ideas? and yes this is a girl…not all gamers are guys! lol
