Playstation 3 question?

When i inserted god of war 3 in to the drive, the console suddenly got louder and started vibrating for 10-15 seconds thenn quiets down. it is the same thing with god of war collection but not as loud, and im not referring to the clicking sound the ps3 makes when it reads a disc. the console vibrates at the xmb sometimes too, usually when a bluray disc is in the drivei never noticed this before , is this normal, it is about 1/2 as loud as a laptop’s processor, but noticeable. it is a ps3 slim new ive had it for about a week. should i be worried

X-Box 360 Or Playstation 3?

My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and i’ve decided that with the money i’ll be getting for my birthday i’ll take it and buy myself a new game console but i don’t know which one. I know that i don’t wont a Nintendo Wii because i really don’t see all the hype behind it. I’ve played it and it just seems very lame to me. But i really love the PS3 and the 360, the games that are getting ready to come out are on both systems. But each console has exclusive title that i really want to play, the PS3 has God of War 3 coming out and i have to see how it ends since i have already beaten both of the other 2 god of war games. While the 360 has Crackdown 2 and Halo: ODST. So i really don’t know which one to buy. Can you give me any advice
