What can I do to get rid of this flab and get a six pack?

six pack
Ducan J asked:

I’m 4’11 and 117 pounds. I still have some belly flab, and I’m trying to get a six pack but all my hardwork isn’t getting me anywhere. I go to the gym 3 or more times a week. What should I eat ? What else could I do to get a six pack before the end of june?
By the way I’m a girl trying to get a six pack.

an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine!
Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times.
Every week add to the number of repetitions.
You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

What really worked for me was Body-for-Life. You get a six pack in 3 months if you work hard and follow the program. You drop fat and gain muscle. It includes a program on both eating and exercise in the book. It’s really sensible but has really great results.

Drink lots of water, not vitamin water, regular water. Take a Ph strip and make sure the water is not acidic.Drink half your body weight in water everyday in Oz. Stay off the meat and eat lots of greens to alkalize your body. Reduce unhealthy fats, you need omega 3-6-9. I suggest Udo’s Oil ( you can mix it with drinks or use it as a salad dressing ).

Exercise daily. Do some running, crunches, maybe some work with that weight ball thing.

I’m a fella who probably drinks to much with the same problem but…..
    1. You are probably doing the wrong type of exercise, I was. I paid a personal trainer for a while and got some good lessons on the right exercise for the right area. Yes she was a girl and I follow them rigorously, if it had a been a fella I probably would have killed the sessions after the first fence. It was very hard work.
    2. Diet – Don’t – None of them work – Eat sensibly smaller portions when you need it not when you want it.
    3. The best thing I learnt is to switch my day upside down. Main meal at lunchtime but keep it smaller and snack at tea-time.
The old saying went something like eat like a king for breakfast, a prince at lunchtime and a pauper for dinner.

After you lose the extra weight you mustn’t stop following the rules. You and your body become more in tune. I stopped eating bread – totally, I don’t need it. I eat wraps or pitta bread now.

I still need some work but good luck with yours.
