what is different between xbox 360 and playstation 3?

as title says what is different between xbox 360 and playstation 3?
i know that ps3 have bluray.
can any 1 tell me the different between these console and similarities.

The Xbox is made by Microsoft and the PS3 by Sony. Yes, the PS3 has a bluray drive and the Xbox does not. There are about 10 times as many games for the Xbox compared to the PS3 and the online community for the Xbox is huge. Sony actually lost major market share by running into supplier issues with the bluray drives which delayed it’s release all the while Xbox was picking up new fans.

I have a PS3 but mainly to view bluray movies on my HDTV. I also have a Nintendo Wii console which is now in comfortable second only to the Xbox in popularity and game selection. I plan on buying an Xbox 360 next spring because the game selection is so much larger and first person shooter games are easier to play than on the PS3.

well the xbox 360 is made by microsoft and can range from 200 dollars to 400 depending if you get the arcade, pro, or elite. The xbox also has a removable hardrive that ranges from 60 gb to 120 gb. Also, xbox has an unbelivable online experience that lets you play your xbox games with players around the world. You can only do this if you have xbox live gold. finally, the only con i think about xbox is its dreaded red ring of death. this displays three of the four quadrents around the power button are red, which basically means, your xbox is fried.

the ps3 has great games for the console, no really harmful system malfunctions, and can play online games for free.

i tend to like the 360 more

I really don’t see any reason not to get a PS3 right now. The 360 is good… but the PS3 has more potential and momentum.
