I **** eBay. Amazon is awesome and not just for businesses. They have just about everything too, not just books and Cd’s like some people think. I always use them.

If all you are selling is stuff like used books in good condition, you can get an account on Amazon. Otherwise, I just use Craigslist.

Amazon is not only for businesses! It’s for everyone to sell. Just create an account there, it’s a great place to buy and sell. It’s almost like ebay only you don’t bid, there’s only a buy feature.
I personally like Amazon best.

The next best place is usually a place that specializes in your specific item. For example, if you sell crafts, you might try Crafters can become a vendor and sell their stuff online. It’s like an eBay but it’s specialized to crafts. My husband sells lighting equipment, and there is a specialty website dedicated to that which he sells tons of stuff from as a vendor.

If you only have a few items to sell then amazon is great, craigslist is good.

If you are looking to sell a lot of things, you might consider your own website. But be warned being in business for yourself is not a get rich quick game…Online or offline.

Good luck
